PM-IRRAS stands for Polarization Modulation Infrared Reflection-Absorption Spectroscopy. It is the differential IR absorption between the s- and p-linearly polarized light for the molecules adsorbed on a metal surface.
- PEM setting: half-wave retardation (λ/2)
- Polarization modulation: between s-, and p- polarization
- Lock-in reference: PEM’s 2nd harmonic (2f)
